About Diff Checker
Paste two versions of a text, such as a contract, an essay, code or a config file, to see exactly what changed. Removed lines are marked in red, added lines in green, and changed lines show the words that differ.

Frequently asked questions
Are my texts uploaded?
No. The comparison runs in your browser, so both texts stay on your device. That makes it safe for contracts, code and other confidential documents.
What does “Ignore whitespace” do?
Lines that differ only in spaces or tabs, such as changed indentation or double spaces, count as unchanged.
Can I compare files?
Yes. Open any text file on either side: code, CSV, JSON, Markdown, logs and so on. Word and PDF files need to be copied as text first.
How large can the texts be?
Tens of thousands of lines work. Very large, very different texts may take too long to compare; you'll see a message if that happens.
