What does error correction do?
It lets a code scan even when part of it is dirty, damaged or covered by a logo. Higher levels are more robust but make the code denser. Medium suits most uses.
Can I change the colours?
Yes. Keep the code darker than its background, with strong contrast. Light codes on dark backgrounds don't scan with every app, so the tool warns you about risky colours.
