Are my images uploaded?
No. Images are rotated on your device, in your browser, and never leave your computer or phone.
Does rotating reduce quality?
PNG and other lossless images keep every pixel. JPG, WebP and AVIF are saved again at the quality you choose; at 90 or above the difference isn't visible.
My photo looks sideways in one app but not another. Why?
Cameras often store photos sideways with a note saying how to turn them, and not every app reads that note. This tool applies the note to the pixels, so the result looks right everywhere.
Can I rotate images by different amounts?
Every image in a batch gets the same rotation. To turn some images differently, rotate them in separate batches.
